Agra is the city of Taj Mahal. Visited by an average 23 lakh tourists every year, Agra is in for a real estate upgrade to strengthen its infrastructure with an outlay of Rs. 750 crore. About 8 percent of this corpus is being spent on Public-Private partnership in various projects. Many Developers and Builders are eyeing Agra Real Estate market for investing in projects like Townships, Residential Towers and Commercial Complexes. Now Agra is a buyers’ property market.
For Commercial Developers, Agra gives the best brand image. The hotel and tourism sector is positioning Agra as a place to stay and unwind. Agra’s commercial properties are mainly Hotels, Resorts, Farm houses and Suites targeting the high spending tourists. Agra’s property prices, when compared to neighbouring Delhi NCR or Jaipur are affordable.
Of late, Agra is witnessing the arrival of new-age residential apartments and townships. The premium projects are Triveni Group’s Triveni Orchid Tower, Parsvnath’s Panchvati, Parsvnath’s Prernai, and Jaipuria’s Sunrise Greens. Other luxury residential apartments in the pipeline are, One Park from Spice One Infrastructure and Paradise by Triveni Group.
In Townships, TDI City in 125 acres has a hotel project. Ansal Town on the Taj Expressway and Ansal Courtyard are making progress. Triveni City, from Triveni Housing and Infrastructure is also under development. Other Township projects are PSG City, Vian City, Taj NRI City and Green City.
Builder Unitech has a multi-purpose project with plots, villas, apartments and commercial spaces. It also plans IT Park, Retail and Institutional spaces and a luxury hotel in the project.
The TDI Mall at the Fatehabad Road is Agra’s first mall. Omaxe is coming up with a wedding mall for Agra. An SEZ for leather products and a Software Technology Park near Shastri Puram are the major real estate projects taking shape in Agra.
