Ahmedabad North has a booming property market spread in residential and commercial properties that are available for rent, lease and sale. Individual houses, apartments, office space, shops, pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, warehouses, garages, retail space and industrial areas from Motera and Tragad are making the property market very vibrant.
In the view of a property consultant: “The land prices are cheap compared to other big metros. Other drivers are excellent infrastructure and government's support in promoting the city and state as a lucrative investment destination”.
According to the NHB survey, a 55 percent jump has been registered in property value in north zone places like Saijpur Bhoga, Buddh Nagar and Vishnu Nagar. Areas like Bhadra, Dudheshwar and Gaikwad Haveli witnessed a 27 percent jump in property value.
An important factor in the development of northern part of the city has been the commissioning of 146 km outer ring road that connects 300 villages to Ahmedabad. Integrated townships, commercial complexes, shopping malls are mushrooming at a staggering rate in this part of the city. Important Projects are Green Acres at Prahladnagar, La Habitat at Thaltej, and Courtyard by Marriot hotel on S G Highway.

A golf housing community project close to the Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary is the first of its kind. North-Ahmedabad is an important not only as a residential area but also as a commercial hot-spot. S G Highway is the most developing and happening area.
The textile mills in this part of the city have created an array of rich investors. The demand for industrial land property is rising. Areas like Chand Khera, Chatral, Bhim Ji Pur, Khoraj, Nirnay Nagar, Sabarmati, Meghani Nagar are famous as residential areas as well as industrial areas.
