The demand for West-Chennai real estate is mostly driven by the IT sector. There is a large expatriate population also in the city who require serviced apartments and other value added services. Star City group’s projects in the Poonamallee High Road are addressing this demand.

More shopping malls are coming up at NM Road, C-in-C Road, OMR, Velacheri, Anna Salai and NH Road. Property rates in both residential and but commercial properties are rising.

It is promoted by Golden Homes Private Ltd., which has state of the art amenities like health, entertainment and home shopping facilities in its premises.

Mogappair has become a good property location in West chennai. It is well connected by inner ring road and industrial estates of Mannurpet, Padi, and Ambattur are in its vicinity. Its new infrastructure includes IT Parks, Schools, and Hospitals. Many residential projects including swanky residential apartment complexes such as TNHB LIG and MIG housing complexes have come up in the region.

Rajakilpakkam is an upcoming suburb to watch out at the Madavakkam High Road, where Jains Housing has an ongoing project for villas. The Jains Sudarsana project offers health and amusement facilities within the complex.
